Reusable Resources Association is a non-profit network of reusable resource centers, educators and businesses working together to promote creative play and quality education through reusable resources.

"I love the vision. Makes sense for children, and so developmentally appropriate. Makes sense for business, which can contribute to a cleaner environment for all of us. Makes financial sense. Just good, common sense. It ought to happen everywhere."  -David Lawrence, President of the Early Childhood Initiative Foundation in Miami

Reusable Resources Association is providing leadership and creative solutions for problems facing education and the environment.

It coordinates action among government, industry and educators throughout the United States in order to reuse and recycle valuable unwanted material resources into the hands of teachers and parents who, in turn, will use them with our children to discover new and creative ways of thinking and solving problems.

To accomplish this mission, RRA:
  • Provides a range of professional development services which are designed to stimulate the personal development of teachers, parents and children. Emphasis is on developing and expressing the creative powers of adults and their skills with children through unique and hands-on workshops and leadership training retreats featuring the use of open-ended materials. Teachers and parents can best help children to develop their creative potential while they, as adults, are doing the same.
  • Provides training and technical assistance on how to establish successful and sustainable reusable resource centers and statewide systems for the collection and redistribution of exciting discarded materials used in motivating creative learning and human development.
  • Serves as a global information networking system for reusable resource centers located around the world, including the development and exchange of information and best practices.
